On May 24, 2024, our sweet yellow Labrador, Phoebe, passed away from cancer. 💔

We gave her a really good life... but as I've learned more about the root causes of diseases like cancer, I realize there's so much I'd do differently.

The truth is heartbreaking:
 
🐾 62% of dogs today are getting sick and dying too soon from cancer. And it's not just cancer that's afflicting our dogs — many dogs are also suffering from other chronic, preventable conditions like allergies, seizures, obesity, diabetes, thyroid issues, heart disease, and autoimmune disorders.
 
Disease in our dogs isn't just due to "poor genetics" — it's significantly shaped by what we feed them, the medical preventatives we choose for them, and the environment we raise them in.

 
This realization changed everything for me. And I knew I had to do something — not just for my future dogs, but for yours too. 🐕💚

Because when we believe disease is inevitable, the cycle repeats dog after dog after dog. 

But the cyle can be broken. You just have to choose to break it.

Our dogs can't make informed lifestyle choices for themselves. They rely on us — their guardians — to make the choices for them. 🐾

Several months after Phoebe's passing, my husband and I welcomed a new Labrador pup, Wednesday, into our family. 🖤 And this time, we're doing things differently — with a truly holistic approach.
